In Uzbekistan, it will be allowed to keep the number when changing the operator, follows from project of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and communications.
The agency has already prepared a draft regulation that describes how the operation will be carried out.

“Portable numbers can only be numbers allocated for mobile operators. Dialing format changes due to number portability is unacceptable,” the project says.
It will be possible to transfer only mobile numbers - number porting, used to provide fixed telephone services, to mobile networks and vice versa is prohibited. If the number is ported erroneously, then it can be returned - this order is also prescribed.
